Our airport business community continues to blossom. Below are some of the ongoing, upcoming, and completed projects shaping Mesa Gateway Airport, both now and into the future.

Announced Projects

FlightSafety International

The new 100,000-square-foot Mesa Learning Center will be located at the intersection of Gateway Boulevard and Aviation Way. This flagship facility supports FlightSafety’s growth strategy and will include full-flight simulators and advanced training devices to serve pilots, maintenance technicians, and cabin crew from around the globe.

Estimated completion: Early 2028

SpringHill Suites

Featuring 127 rooms, the SpringHill Suites is situated at the intersection of Gateway Boulevard and Aviation Way. Strategically located within Gateway East, the hotel will serve business and leisure travelers visiting the area and offer a variety of amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.

Estimated completion: Summer 2027

Gateway East Retail Shops

Adjacent to the SpringHill Suites, two retail shops are being constructed. When complete, these will provide businesses and visitors with convenient access to dining and retail experiences.

Wingate Hawthorn Hotel

This dual-brand Wyndham Hotel is located within SkyBridge Arizona, along Sossaman Road. The hotel will feature traditional and extended-stay hotel rooms, along with other first-class amenities for business and leisure travelers alike.

Estimated completion: Summer 2027

Garmin

Garmin recently acquired a 75,000-square-foot hangar and office complex on the northwest side of the Airport. This new facility is currently being upfitted and will be home to 75 employees. When complete, it will support Garmin’s aircraft certification, flight testing, and R&D efforts.

AmpliFLY

With over 136,000 square feet, this exciting private hangar project will be an impressive opportunity for aviation businesses needing a world-class hangar facility. The project recently received pre-submittal approval from the City of Mesa and is currently in design.
